Peter Hyoguchi On Casting
"Finding the right actor for the role is, I think, one of the most important things..."
|
"You can have the best visual effect ever and if you don't have the right people, it doesn't make a difference. When Christina came for the second callback, we put her together with [Darvin] for the first time and it was really an exciting moment when they were in the same room together and they did a scene and it just fit. In fact as soon as she walked into the room, and they shook hands, I saw them and it was like, that's it."

Christina On The Role Of "Yuka"
"Yuka is a fascinating character and I'm thrilled I have the honor of putting on her skin..."
|
"Yuka is a beautiful soul - her spirit can't be contained - even when she is held captive on a rice plantation. I love that Yuka is a rebel. Something deep within me resonates with Yuka in a way I can't quite explain. I think this journey will challenge and stretch me as an actress in ways I haven't been before and I look forward to the challenge"

The Balcony
a comedic webseries
At the end of every day, two twenty-something almost adults convene for drinks on their top floor balcony to talk about the "tough" questions life has to offer: is it better to sleep in hot or cold temperatures? Which pedestrian on the street is better looking than the other? Is it possible to actually fish off a balcony? Through their almost sibling-like rivalry and endearing camaraderie, Nate and Dolph come together as a duo at the end of every work day, enjoying their fifth floor balcony status, as they both observe and judge the world below them in fun-loving, comical ways.

She amuses herself and gets material by playing off—what she deems to be—their fun and cute rivalry/friendship.
